General Order/Shipping Information
Coffee Shop of Horrors prides itself on providing the freshest coffee and tea possible. We keep a very low in-house stock of coffee and typically roast coffee or blend teas as orders are placed.
All orders placed on coffeeshopofhorrors.com are held for 24 hours from the date and time the order is placed in order to give our customers time to contact us to make changes to or cancel their order.
Roasting and Packaging of coffee and tea takes 3-5 business days before shipping. Coffee Shop of Horrors does not roast, package or ship coffee on holidays or weekends.
Coffee Shop of Horrors uses the United States Postal Service Priority and Express Mail services. We ship only to the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.
Shipments to Canada
Please note that shipments to Canada may take longer due to customs regulations. Your order may be subject to customs fees such as taxes, duties, processing or brokerge fees. Coffee Shop of Horrors has no control over these fees, and recommends our customers check with their local customs office for more information.
Coffee Shop of Horrors shipping charges do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay these custom fees when your order arrives the shipment will be returned to Coffee Shop of Horrors and we will be charged those custom fees plus return shipping costs. We do NOT issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay customs fees so please be familiar with the laws before ordering.
Shipping to PO Boxes
If your order weighs less than 50 pounds we should be able to send your order through the United States Postal Service. This shipping method does not include tracking.
Coffee Shop of Horrors is not responsible for delays or mis-shipments when a P.O. Box address is used.
We are able to ship most of our products to U.S. Military APO/FPO addresses.
Unfortunately, we cannot supply tracking numbers for shipments to APO/FPO addresses. We send all shipments to APO/FPO addresses using the U.S. Postal Service.
When completing your Shipping Address during checkout, please make note of the following.
- The City must be entered as either "APO" or "FPO"
- The State must be selected as either "AA" "AE" or "AP"
- You must enter your Zip code
- Always remember to enter your full name, grade, and PSC or unit number
Please note, orders shipped to an APO/FPO address do take longer to be delivered. Please allow 2-4 weeks for your package to arrive.
Orders placed through coffeeshopofhorrors.com on normal business days are processed after a 24 hour holding period - and are shipped 3-5 business days from the time the order is placed. Coffee Shop of Horrors keeps very low stock quantities and roasts and blends only as needed to ensure our customers get the freshest, best quality coffee and tea. This additional roasting and packaging time is the reason for the 3-5 business day window until your shipment is sent.
Calculating Costs and Shipment of Backordered Items
Shipping costs for orders placed on coffeeshopofhorrors.com are calculated based on the following criteria: chosen shipping method, total product order weight, and zip/postal code. Coffee Shop of Horrors utilizes the US Postal Service for its shipping needs, and charges the most current standard shipping rates.
If an order contains both in stock and backordered products your shipment will be delayed until the backordered items become available. For this reason coffeeshopofhorrors.com suggests that our customers order backordered items separately from other items. If you do choose to order backordered items as part of a multi-item order you will be charged for all items, plus your chosen shipping option, at the same time. If one or more items are on backorder, the shipping method chosen at the time of purchase will be utilized once all items are received in the warehouse.
Returns & Refunds
Coffee Shop of Horrors accepts the return of unopened items (with any seals intact) that were purchased and fulfilled through this web site only. Items must be received by Coffee Shop of Horrors within fourteen (14) days of original delivery.
Customers will be refunded the cost of the original purchase minus shipping and handling and a 10% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for any shipping and handling costs required to return items to Coffee Shop of Horrors.
In cases where an order error was made by Coffee Shop of Horrors (such as receiving an incorrect or defective item) a full refund of the item cost plus shipping and handling costs to return these items will be covered by Coffee Shop of Horrors.
Refunds are not processed until items are returned and in posession of Coffee Shop of Horrors.
The following items are non-returnable and will not be issued a refund:Items returned to Coffee Shop of Horrors after the fourteen (14) day return period
- Items which have been opened, marked or damaged in any way making them unfit for resale
- Items purchased through other online or local retailers (not Coffee Shop of Horrors)
- Opened packages of Coffee and Tea are NOT returnable
How and When Refunds Are Processed
Refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of order placement are processed immediately.
Customers whose returns meet the guidelines outlined in Returns & Refunds will receive a refund of the cost of returned items minus a 10% item restocking fee. The customer is also responsible for return shipping to Coffee Shop of Horrors.
Returns are processed within 1-3 business days of receiving the item(s), and in the same form of payment used in the original purchase of those items. Please ensure that you submit your original order information along with a daytime phone number you can be reached at in case Coffee Shop of Horrors needs to contact you for further information.
Coffee Shop of Horrors uses PayPal for payment processing. According to PayPal's refund policy, refunds to credit cards are processed by PayPal in 3-5 business days, but may take up to 30 days to appear on your statement.
Packing & Sending Your Return
You can pack and send your return to us in just a few simple steps:
1. Pack the items along with the packing slip (the receipt included in the box with your items) securely in a box. You may use the box the items originally arrived in, or another box if you prefer. Please include a phone number where you may be reached in case we need to contact you regarding your refund.
2. Affix a shipping label to the outside of the box and send to:

3. Take it to a Post Office or other shipping center to pay postage or shipping and return the package. It is your responsibility to ship the product back to us, and pay the shipping and handling to do so
You may cancel your order for any item within 24 hours of placing the order provided the order has not entered the shipping process. If you wish to cancel your order after it has shipped it will need to be returned following the Returns & Refunds guidelines outlined above.
Coffee Shop of Horrors does not sell or ship to countries outside of the United States of America and Canada.
